BOSSE 10th & 12th
The Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education (BOSSE) in Sikkim, India, is an esteemed open schooling board dedicated to addressing the diverse academic needs of students up to the pre-degree level. Established under Act No. 14 of 2020 of the Sikkim Legislative Assembly, BOSSE has been entrusted with the responsibility to promote and disseminate open schooling education at the state and national level.
Recognitions and Equivalence:
BOSSE 10th & 12th has been granted Equivalence by the AIU (Association of Indian Universities), allowing BOSSE pass outs to seek admission in universities, colleges, and higher education institutes across the country and abroad.
Additionally, BOSSE has gained recognition from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling), Ministry of Education, Government of India, aligning its certificates with other national and state-level boards of school education.

The Secondary Programme offered by BOSSE 10th & 12th is designed for students who have completed their primary education and are ready to enter the secondary level. This program provides a comprehensive curriculum that covers essential subjects as follows. Students enrolled in the Secondary Programme work towards obtaining their Secondary School Certificate, which is recognized by BOSSE 10th & 12th and accepted for further studies.

- Learners have to choose five subjects with at least one and maximum two Language Subjects from Group A and the remaining subjects from Group B.
- Two additional subjects can be taken from either of the two groups with additional fees as per BOSSE 10th & 12th norms.
- Subjects with asterisk* have theory as well as practical.
The Senior Secondary Programmes offered by BOSSE 10th & 12th cater to students who have completed their secondary education and are ready to pursue higher studies or enter the workforce. These programs provide a wide range of subjects to choose from, allowing students to specialize in their areas of interest. The curriculum includes subjects as follows. Successful completion of the Senior Secondary Programmes leads to the awarding of the Senior Secondary School Certificate, which is accepted by universities, colleges, and employers both nationally and internationally.

All applicants need to submit a self-attested copy of their Secondary Certificate. There is no restriction on choice of subjects and combinations, except that minimum one language has to be taken. Learners can choose their subjects from the BOSSE List of Subjects as given below:
